Construction and demolition activities, by their very nature, can generate noise pollution and vibration which is likely to impact upon local residents.

Acoustech is able to undertake acoustic surveys, assessments and reports to BS5228 Parts 1 and 2 ‘Code of practice for noise and vibration control on construction and open sites’. As part of our full turn-key solution we can also provide long term on-site or remote noise monitoring solutions to provide reports and assessments which are often required for compliance with planning conditions and Control of Pollution Act 1974 Section 61 Agreements.

Acoustech is also able to deliver fixed point surveys and assessments as well as a full site investigation, with “heat maps” showing key machinery to consider and can also make recommendations for hearing protection zones in line with daily exposure action values to ensure compliance with Control of Noise at Work regulations.
