Jockey Club Live

The Jockey Club has announced 23 live concert dates across seven racecourses, with Symphotech on hand to provide all production management and healthy and safety.

The Jockey Club Live is a unique series of concerts which combines horse racing with a spectacular line up of music, including The Corrs, Bryan Adams and Little Mix, at some of the world’s most famous racecourses.

With 23 shows over a three month period, Symphotech has been contracted to deliver the highest quality of production and health and safety services. Symphotech has worked with The Jockey Club for three years and for the series of summer concerts, it’s set to supply a dedicated on-site production safety officer on the build, show and break of every concert, enabling a smooth transformation from the racing to the music.

Julian Spear, Director of Symphotech commented: “Hosting gigs in racecourses gives audiences a sense of a special occasion. There are many considerations in adapting the racecourses to being outdoor concert venues, so we will be drawing on our experience to make the 2016 shows very special.”

With the full line up announced, Deacon Blue will kick off The Jockey Club Live concerts on Friday 13th May at Aintree Racecourse and Little Mix will bring the concert series to an end on the 27th August at Newmarket Racecourse.
